Terms of use

Spacend is provided by Vinicius Araujo da Silva, [postal address], 322607680, support@spacend.app.

Spacend helps you record and understand what your life costs, organised into Spaces. It is a personal organisation tool. It does not hold money, make payments, connect to banks, or provide financial, tax, legal or investment advice. Figures are based on what you and the people you share Spaces with record.

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• You can start as a guest; guest data lives on one account and can be lost if you remove the app before creating a full account.
• Keep your sign-in details safe and tell us if you suspect misuse.
• Give accurate information and only record data you are entitled to record.

When you invite people to a Space, they can see and add to it as described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for whom you invite and what you share. The owner of a Space manages its members and settings.

• Spacend Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store. Price, currency and period are shown before you confirm.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before that.
• You can manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or in the app under Profile → Spacend Plus. Cancelling keeps Plus until the end of the paid period.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you subscribe.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
• When Plus ends, your data stays yours: nothing is deleted or locked, but features beyond the Free plan stop.

Do not misuse Spacend: no attempts to access other people’s data, disrupt or reverse-engineer the service beyond what the law allows, send spam invitations, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do, after warning you where reasonable.

What you record remains yours. You give us only the permission needed to store and show it to you and to the people you share it with. You can export or delete it as described in the privacy policy.

We work to keep Spacend available and your data safe, but the service may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may improve or change features; if a change significantly reduces what you pay for, we will tell you in advance and you can cancel.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we are not liable for decisions you make based on figures in the app, or for indirect losses.

You can stop using Spacend and delete your account at any time (how). We may end the service with reasonable notice; if we do, we will give you time to export your data.

These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. Before going to court, contact us at support@spacend.app; most things can be solved quickly.

Consumers in Portugal can also use an alternative dispute resolution entity; see the legal notice. The electronic complaints book (Livro de Reclamações) is available.

If we change these terms we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app beforehand. Continuing to use Spacend after that means you accept the new terms.
